Could use some advice on a new amp set up for the following components that I own already:

* HEAD UNIT: Kenwood KMR-330
* IN BOAT SPEAKERS: (2) Kenwood KFC-1652MRB. 6 1/2" 30 watts each RMS, 4 ohms.
* IN BOAT SPEAKERS: (2) stock speakers - I think they're 4" or so.
* SUB: Bazooka Amplified 8" Sub, 50 watts RMS, built-in 100 watt amp, not sure on impedance)

Going for a budget set up, and I think I want KMT6 tower speakers (150 watts RMS I think, and about 6 ohms if in series, 1.5 ohms if parallel)

Assuming I get the KMT6's, what amp(s) would you guys recommend? I assume I'd want a separate amp to run the tower speakers only, and a 2nd amp to run the in-boat speakers and sub?? Or is there an amp that will power everything? Or is there a good way to continue to use the built-in sub amp??

Kicker KX450.2?
Kicker ZX650.4?
Kicker KX700.5?

I'd go fro a fusion FM504. It's a 4 channel amp that will power your in boats and tower speakers just fine. It's great value and a nice quality for the money.

Use half of it to power the tower speakers and the other half running the in boat speakers in parallel.

Brit Rider, Would I still rely on the built-in amp inside the sub to power the sub itself? Would you change your recommendation at all if I said I plan to upgrade the sub in a year or two?

I'm running the KX450.2 and the KMT6's and it works well. I have a buddy running his in-boats and sub (Wet Sounds) on the KX700.5. You could go with both of those and power everything well for now, yet probably still be able to upgrade to higher power speakers later.

Pop Addict, To amp your sub more you need a new sub... Which will require a bigger amp like the 700.5 Okie boarder suggested.

Brit Rider, since my sub has a built-in amp, what kind of amp would be a good choice to power both the tower speakers and the in-boat speakers with the exception of my sub?

All depends on budget and how much sound you want. Personally I've had good results with the Fusion FM504 twinned to tower speakers and upto 4 in boats... If you have more money to spend then anything from the 4-channel Kicker line up would work well up to the ZX650.4

Per Kicker, the zx450.2 is a perfect match to run the kmt6 tower setup.
