|
|
Hey, im looking for a new board as my old one is cheap and s**t. i want a board with a mellow 3 stage, because i heard agressive 3 stages are very loose on the water (is that true btw?) the board needs a good strong edge as i hate a loose board. and most importantly it needs to have a durable base as i ride sliders alot now, though i still ride on a boat. any decent boards?
i was looking at the J star lidberg, anyone every tried these? are they strong? does it have good edge hold? any advice would be helpful. thanks :D |

no its not true.
if you like a tight board, pay attention to how big the fins are but also placement, the closer they are to the tip of the board, and outside edge of the board, the harder then will hold and later they will release. alse the shape of the back of the fin will affect this as well. rounded end will release sooner/looser, and a pointed outward sloping end will be tighter and release late.
i would look at some of hyperlites stuff with there bolt on outer fins. _________________

yehh i have looked at a couple hyperlite boards, but none of them seem to have a durable base, or atleast nothing is said about the basses on the website, thanks for the fin info btw :) |
