|

My brother-in-law made me a wakeboard bench a few years back. I am starting to get a good little pile of broken wakeboards that I want to make into benches.
Does anybody have plans for a frame? Or maybe a source for pre-fab frames that can be used to make a wakeboard bench?

You can get Bench frames at Menards if you have one of those near-by

I'll take some pictues on my phone when I get home. I built a wooden bench out of bi-level wakeskate (The bottom deck is the part you sit on while the back is the top deck). It turned out really well and I just kind of winged (wung?) it.
It'd be REALLY cool to make an ariondack/lounge type chair. I've seen em made out of skateboards before.

| yep basically the same thing, we have lowes, home depot, and menards, in mich but you could very eisily build the frame for a bench your self out of wood, plus you could build it to match the style of the boards

I'll try to snap a shot today or tomorrow and post it up.
Setup is simple:
Attach your 2x4s
I drilled pilot holes through a binding screw hole on either end of the board to make it look clean
Then screwed in a deck screw in each of those holes
Repeat for other board

Forgot to post pic...here it is. I painted the 2x4s if you are wondering about those from looking at the pic. I've had a couple friends build the frames entirely out of 2x4s before and they look great as well. But they are pretty heavy. This frame is light, easy to setup, and easy to move around.

Looks great flix, I really liked the double white boards. They fit well together.
