The Canadian nationals were a couple weeks ago and it was a great event. It was my first Nationals and I had a blast. Got to meet Rusty, Ratray, Trevor Hansen and chatted with Shawn Watson. It's amazing how down to earth and friendly these guys are. If you have a chance attend these contests they are great. I don't think the Florida guys were too impressed with the wind/rain/cold (10-14 degrees C) temps though.
This is a great video put together by Dustin O’Ferrall from Wakeboard and Wakeskate Nationals that was posted on the SBCWakeboard.com website.

Sweet video, we had a great time as well. It awesome to see these guys ride.
I chatted with Watson for a bit and tried to explain that it was +30c 2 days before but I don't think he believed me.
Shout out to everyone that organized an awesome event |

I rode in Men's 1, went down on some real easy tricks unfortunately. The wind on friday was unreal. Factoring in boat speed it was like a 60+ mph head wind on your first pass. It was still a great time though. I had met Rusty, Rattray, and Trevor Hansen before so it was cool to chill with them again as well as Watson who I hadn't met.
