i just picked up an alpine sirius setup for the boat. i got it all activated, and installed, i just need to know where the best place would be to mount the antenna. will it be ok on the dash under the windshield where it is now when i put up my bimini top? or do i need to mount it higher than that? never put it on a boat, so im not sure. |

I hate to rehash this old post... but what I did was get a stereo with a USB / Aux in so I play my phone or flash drive through my system. It has the sirius app and Pandora on it. Good bye CD's... you will not be missed! _________________ '08 Mobius LS |

The ant needs to be free of any obstacles to the satellite. Just putting your hand over it will stop the feed. I mounted mine in front of the windshield opposite of the zero off ant. |

I had one mounted on a moomba lsv on the dash and had no problem. Just set the antenna where you think you might want it and put the top up and see what happens. |
