Im looking to buy this boat a 93 MasterCraft prostar 205 (351) I want to get some true opinions on this boat, How is the wake? Any problems....ect..... The boat looks brand new and the price is right!!!

I have a '94 Prostar 190. Decent wake w/1000 lbs. You really need more lake 2000 for a good wake. Great shape though. Not much room though with all the sacs in there. Runs great with 600 hours on ours. Not one problem. If that has an open bow and a ski locker, you should be good. Is that purple?

I have a 1997 prostar 1997 and love it. It is the same hull as the xstar through 02, and i think very similar to new x2. that boat looks almost identical to mine. Mine has efi, your boat might have carb. Anyway, I love mine.

I have a '92 205 and it runs great. It also has the carb. and we have had no problems with it. Actually, the only problem we had was the center floor section in the rear rotted out and had to be replaced.

I have a '93 PS 205 with a Boss Custom Swoop tower on it. (check profile for pic.) I love my boat. Right now I am running about 900 lbs. in back and 300 lbs. up front plus people and the wake is pretty good. I ride at 70 ft. and the wake is still clean at about 24 MPH. Mine does have the Corvette LT-1 though, which may make mine a little different. I don't have any trouble getting out of the hole. I live in Columbia City. It's up north, right in-between Ft. Wayne and Warsaw. The lake I usually go to is even farther north. It's called Adams Lake. It's in Wolcotville, which is just north of Rome City.

I just bought a 1994 prostar 205, its the EFI engine though, came with a tower, fatsac, 4 blade prop, and new interior, and 800hrs. Awsome boat i luv it, i havent fully saced it out , but with 7 - 8 people and 1 sac in the back the wake was ok, i cant wait to load it up.
How much do they want for that boat? My father and i have done some mechanical work on the engine, nothing major, but he is a mr marine fix-it person. After the few initial things where checked and replaced, fuel pump, some hoses showing age, manafold gaskets, and impeler, she runs awsome. Havent had a problem yet (75hrs only). If you have ne questonis lemme know.

No, it wont change anything having a carb. The EFI is newer and different technique. But both are running very well.
