Short and sweet this is my next project.
I expect that there might be several versions until I get what I am looking for but I will doing one up soon so we are prepared for holidays. Between 3 tubes, 1 wakeboard and in the coming days a kneeboard I need to find ways to keep myself sane with all the clutter. We typically take 1 of ours tubes as well as the wakeboard and now kneebaord eachtime we hit the water.
I am going to go off the map a bit with this project from what you are most familiar with and go with either a natural wood finish using ? wood or maybe going with wood fiberglassed and finished in the white or blue Interlux Brightside as the rest of my hull has been.

Anyone with any pictures or advice I would welcome it all.

I have attached a pic of my boat since my complete redo. I will post a pic of the 1st and subsequent versions of the mount.

Out on the lake today I am looking around and noticing the towers on some of the boats. Now I got myself thinking I should put away the thoughts of board racks with no tower.......... and just make a tower.
Look for my home built tower pics sometime early next spring.......
With wakeboard and kneebaord racks.
Damn if only I could do a rack for tubes too!

i made a tower out of a porch swing set. it turned out good, and was really solid. you could do a bimini cover like i am, and it will double as a tube rack/storage. i will try and find the build of my old tower.
