07 LF Trip to 09 LF Shane

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if I could get some different opinions on this switch. I have an 07 LF Trip and I am looking to switch to an 09 LF Shane. I know I'm switching from a continuous rocker to a 3 stage rocker so I'm not really sure how much of a change that would be. I was also just wondering if anyone could give me their opinion of the 09 Shane. Thanks for the help.

I would love to give you my opinion. I've ridden the trip and liked it a lot, I've ridden the HL belmont before that and loved it a lot. After the trip I rode the lyman and wasn't a huge fan. Then I tried the shane and my goodness. That board was like we knew each other. For me it was honestly perfect. Held a good edge going into the wake, was easy to break loose for board slides. Had great pop. I dunno man it's a sweet ride. And if you like the same kind of boards I do, chance is you're really going to like it.

I tried the lyman cuz i heard great things but i was so sad because I never felt like i got the pop the 3 stage was supposed to give me. Then I rode the Shane and it was great. more pop than previous boards? Not really. But I just felt like i could easily get it to do what I wanted.

I think you're going to love it.

Edit: PS I'm trying out the slingshot response right now and although I like it for certain reasons, I still day dream about the Shane occasionally.
