If you all remember, about a month ago I posted saying that I had broken my obrian boots taking a spill.

Well I was out yesterday and was going for a BS surface 180(BAD idea in the chop) caught the back of the board(hit my back on the water, rolled over backwards, got up on my board, then fell back again). Anyways, while I was floating there I noticed that the boots were literally about to fall apart. One more good spill and the whole boot would've separated from the base.

So I go back to my local dealer and say "obviously these boots arent working for me, I want a different set". He agreed and gave me a pair of liquid force boots he JUST marked down from $400 to $290. Yeah the price will sound a little extreme to you guys, but the wakeboard community isn't very big around here. Prices are high in my area.

And of course it's raining and 50 mph wind today so I cant even try them:(

Haha, great trade off. I spent 250 on the o'brians at full price, then he gave me the liquid force which were just marked down to 290 and didn't charge me extra...needless to say he'll be getting more of my business.

I had a string break on mine saturday and was ejected from the left side of my obrien bindings. Got a huge gash out of the deal too...one of the metal pulleys for the strap system was exposed in the boot somehow and got me on the way out. Shocked

Never buying obrien bindings again

No can do. All those are from stores in the USA and, unfortunately for me, they cant ship Ronix up to Canada. Actually one of the ONLY brands they can ship is Hyperlite. Unless I settle for body glove or something like that.

And I'm starting to agree with chawk. Question for the other 2 posters, how long did your boots last? Mine only made it through maybe 4 trips to the lake each time. I'd say 12 sessions.

Not sure who told you that. I went to my local shop and they wanted $550 for the ronix Cells (09 model). Went on ebay and got the same pair for $320 with shipping and exchange.

None of the guys I emailed ever said anything about not shipping to canada. I just emailed them to confirm first, and they said no problem.

I couldnt be any happier with them! Comfy as anything, and easy to get in and out.
