First off, sweet forum, thanks to all for passing on knowledge that you've learned. I'm 6'2, 200lbs and just started wakeboarding 3 weeks ago. I already caught the bug and it's beautiful.
Yesterday my wife bought me a board off CL. It's a 142 LF substance.
My questions are:
1)Do I set the boots about shoulder width apart? Right now they are both in the outermost holes on their respective sides.
2)What angle do i point the boots out at? I think they are set to 12° right now.
Thanks a bundle. |

You can leave the boots where they are, probably. It's all personal preference. Wider=more stability though.
If you put them duckstance (both the same) I wouldn't go over 12° (to protect knees and ankles). But again; whatever you prefer.
Btw, the board is a bit small for you but that's something you can worry about later.
Have fun with it! _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

| On the video The Book it says you can lay the board on the ground in front of you horizontally and put your feet about shoulders length apart and jump in the air, and how your feet land naturally is pretty close to how you want to set your bindings. Try it a couple of times, and don't look down just look in front of you, so that you don't move your feet when you land. |
