Board & bindings the same brand? or does not matter

what is the normal or most common thing to do wakeboard & bindings the same brand or it does not matter at all?

In all seriousness, it doesn't matter, although im pretty sure binding attachments have changed in the past few years so some bindings don't fit on the newer template (someone confirm this?)

I have a 2006 Hyperlite Murray with 2006 Liquid Force Limited Edition Watson bindings. I still use the same board and bindings, and haven't had any issues at all. I haven't even had to replace anything on the bindings and they look like brand new still lol (bought the wakeboard/bindings in 2006 when they came out - quite expensive, but worth it). I was amazed that I got a pair of the Watson LE bindings though, as there were only 500 made total.

My friend has Hyperlite bindings and he's already had to replace one of the lace locks or whatever.

lol liquid force with hyperlite... it will tear a black hole in the earth. na, i got ronix bindings on slingshot, cuz slingshot bindings blow.
