I'm currently on a '07 SS Recoil. Only ride behind a boat (I/O for now), still pretty new to the sport, not doing too much more than w2w 180s.

SS has some pretty good deals on boot/board combos right now and I'm thinking about upgrading. I like my current Recoil for the most part, I'm not sure if it's me or not but my only gripe with it is that it feels inconsistent off the wake.

I know the newer Recoils are 3 stage, looking at mine it looks like continuous rocker. What I'm wondering is how the newer Response would ride compared to my older Recoil?

Also, if I decide to go ahead with this, the price is the same for the '08 D2s or the '08 PB Floyds. Which is the better binding?

D2's are stiffer PB Floyds are a softer more flexible boot

Cool, good to know. At my height/weight I'd probably lean towards the D2s then. How about the differences between the two boards?
