I have an old Hyperlite Parks Bonifay 143 Pro Model board with really shotty LF bindings that are way too small...and i sorta want to sell it and buy a 09 CWB Pure w/ Torq bindings.
Just looking for some info on both boards and how much my board would be worth if i sold it? (i bought it for like $100 used at a sports store with no bindings)

Any info or any advice or just anything would be greatly appreciated.
Also i think my board now is too big for me, im 6'2ish 135lbs and the board is 143. The Pure is a 141, would that be better?

As far as the difference between a 143 and a 141, you won't notice much difference. But for your size, something in the 140 range is what you should be riding anyway.

As far as selling your Parks, I personally would just keep it. The bindings aren't worth any more than maybe $30 or maybe as high as $50. And the board could still be worth $100 if its still in good shape. But, I can tell you from experience that it is really nice to have a spare board for friends to ride so your gear isn't taking a beating. Also, having an extra board is perfect for those slider days Wink

140 seems a bit long for you, but I wouldn't cut down to 134 because you are more likely to get heavier than lighter. Maybe a 137,138. If you can afford it, keep the board around.

Based on your weight, your right, a 140 would be too big but because your so tall, a little bit longer board would benefit you. Especially since your just getting started. When your learning a longer board will provide a bit more forgiveness than a shorter board would.

you need the larger board because of your height. if you wont be able to get the stance width you need for you height. youll be knee knockin. youll also find youll land more stuff and be more stable with the wider stance.
