Hi!
I am a very enthusiastic fan of wakeboarding! I don't ride but I love to watch and be wowed! Merely being a watcher and not a rider makes it a lil bit tough to find places to hang out and just talk with people about wakeboarding (pro or otherwise) and music and movies and jokes. Hopefully I'm in the right place!  I'm a people person.  I like to talk and socialise and kid around- A LOT!  I'm a chick. I answer to FM so don't worry about typing out my full screen name if you do talk to me. Okay that's it. Take care all. TTYL hopefully.

Hi Lindsay. Thanks also for the welcome. I've only recently become exposed to the sport and I have never had an opportunity to try it myself ... I'd like to try it though, someday. For now I'm happy just watching with my mouth catching flies! I caught the re-air of the Pro Tour last fall and I was just so impressed and entranced! I'm going to the live PWT event in Kelowna July12/13 and I'm so excited about that!

I've been putting the wish vibes out !! I want a boat!! I'd love to try wakeboarding ... looks a bit scary ... but I'd still like to try it. Loved all those smilies! Thanks I needed smiled at today! Okay I always need smiled at ... it wasn't particular to today!

check out dees slou on july 5/6th the 5th are the provincials and the 6th is a tourny, and after the tourny they might have a demo session. check it out.

I'd like to but I don't have a way to get there ... when I go to Kelowna I might have an opportunity to try wakeboarding. I'm volunteering at the PWT events and the volunteer co-ordinator was very nice and mentioned he might get me to try wakeboarding while I'm there ... we'll see!

I can't help it with the smileys cuz I just feel happy and I'm a friendly person! I smile a lot IRL too ... guess it seeps onto the boards I post at.
Mark Kenney was my favorite rider last PWT and I was saddened to hear that such a skilled, gifted person had died so young.
Now I like Shane Bonifay and Parks Bonifay although admittedly Parks is my very favorite ... be nice if he took the title this year. Even if he doesn't he'll still be my fave cuz not only is he a kick hiney rider but I like his attitude! Did you catch Wakestock on tv last Saturday? Or hmm this is an int'l board maybe it only aired in Canada on Saturday?

That's cool! Like I said I'm new to this whole scene and at this point in time Parks is my fave ... that may change as I learn more ... I just love to watch ALL of them ride! I find it fascinating. The guy driving the boat impresses me usually too. Some of the boat manoevers look pretty tight.
