Hyperlite Marek split right down the middle, why!?

Ok so this year i have gotten a lot better, i have finally gotten down a tantrum and starting to learn pretty much just basic beginner inverts. Anyways yesterday i went and did a tantrum, landed fine and about to ride it out when my left boot completely slid off the board. Idk why this happened. I just replaced my team murray boots with ronix cell boots and i used the bolts from the hyperlite for the ronix. Does this have anything to do with it?
