very very tech trick.

Id personally rather see a huge laid out whirly in the flats like lyman or adkinson. double whirlys are too "hucked" and are kinda ugly Colorful

jBoss, no one has ever done a wrapped whirly 9. The trick is a mislabeled switch wrapped mobe 5.

The reason no one has done any in comps is because Parks is still the only person to ever land one, and only a few at that. He did although try one on the way into the dock a few years ago at one of the comps, I beleive it was 99 Nationals but I'm not positive.

Brannan Johnson was sticking them w2w in 99-00. Parks and him both nailed one for Shafted I believe, not a whirly 5 but a whirly 7. They are a super fast rotation but it still looks great, its in a class of its own for sure w/ the bs 720, handle above the head. There are a lot of other tricks that aren't thrown b/c they are so hard to stick, those guys kill themselves just trying to get one video shot of stick stuff like that.

Jim M, I'm pretty sure Brannan did not land one in Shafted. He did try one in the credits or crash section off the double up and got worked. He landed a big worm in it but no whirly 7.

I had a guy tell me not too long ago that a guy on his lake 'accidentally' did a whirly 7, and landed it Rolling Eyes

Parks did 2 in Shafted, Brannon ate crap. but he did do a pete rose 5. Wrapped whirly is not a whirly not possible, and yeah... Notice guys don't do there most tech stuff in comps, I mean most of them still do rolls to revert in the middle. I bet a whirly 7 is harder than Parks double halfcab roll. and sometimes they don't like how the trick feels and just dont do it

DaWord, go on kazaa and look up "wakeboarding" or "Zane Shwenk" and the video of him doing a wrapped whirly 9 should show up.[/b]

That is a wrapped whirly 5, when you unwrap you don't have to land wrapped and blind on your toeside edge, I definitely wouldn't say its easier than a whirly 5 but the landing is much more wide open. Sick tick for sure, just not a 900 rotation. A wrapped whirly 9 would be the craziest trick ever thrown, ever.

Jim M and DaWord are right, that is a mis-labeled trick, and may I add my two bits since I am really bored.

I don't believe in such things as the "wrapped whirlybird." How can you wrap a move that has no handlepass in the first place. I call it a wrapped moby dick, because that does require a handle pass, and your body is doing the same thing. Anyone agree? eh?

Yep that makes sense to me, but you gotta think the people that called it a wrapped whirlybird also called it a wrapped whirlybird 900. Its definitely of the moby dick descent if you really break it down. The people that named that clip on Kazaa should be shot and killed. And if Zane disagrees he will feel the wrath too.

It is simply a Wrapped mobe 5. Pretty cool trick, but I still think that the only thing that should be wrapped is green.

Wrapped Whirly nine, ha ha ha. Mr. Green

That's nothing compared to my wrapped S-Bend. ha ha ha ha ha ha Laugh

Later...

It would be very hard but you could do a wrapped whirly because when you do a 900 there is still a handle pass in it, so when you do the handle pass rotate over your head.
