I live in Seattle. Apparently we aren't getting summer this year. Seriously getting sick of this.

-This is now the longest stretch (by far) that we've gone into a new year without hitting 75 degrees. The old record was June 9th, set in 1991.

-This is also the longest streak of consecutive days without hitting 75. Monday makes Day 271. The old record was 253, done twice (Sept. 28, 1990-June 9, 1991, and Sept. 22, 1999 - June 3, 2000.)

-Through June 20, the average high temperature from May and June combined is 62.0 degrees. If that holds, it would be a record as the coldest May-June is 62.49 degrees set in 1953.

-Just taking June into account, the average high temperature is 63.8 degrees would be third-coldest behind 1971 (62.73) and 1953 (63.27)

-On June 15th, the weather at 18,000 feet was colder over Washington than any other place on the North American continent -- including sites within the Arctic Circle!

Zach M, Global Warming...enjoy it! Mr. Green

I'd actually love to have some cooler weather for a few weeks. It's definitely hot in the southern plains...and humid.

key, I was always amused in Chile how in the winter it would get in the 50's and everybody would dress in the biggest snowsuit available and act like they were in antarctica. I was snowboarding one time and it got up to 50+ on the slopes and I ended up in a short sleave shirt and my snow pants, everybody looked at me like I was crazy

I love Florida, but man do summers suck here. I didn't think there was such a thing as being 'too hot' until the last week or so.

I've been in Florida about 10 years... the first 4-5 years I thought the summers were too hot, now I actually enjoy working up a sweat in the first 10 seconds I'm outside.

I'll take "too hot" over "cold and snow" any day of the week.

I gotta call BS on that. NO ONE likes Texas weather in July and August. It's unbearable unless you're on the water...scratch that, IN the water. Being on top of the water just makes it worse. When we wakeboarded during the summer, we always tried to get off the lake by 11. After that, you couldn't go 10 minutes without having to jump in (to the "refreshing" 92* water).

We're starting to get into the late june humidity and heat here. Should be like this till Late august early september. I'll take it any day over winter though. It's nice being able to go to the pool around sunset and have a few cold ones.

I guess I am the exception to your rule. It is no lie. I have lived here all my life and grown accustomed to it. I was ALWAYS out side playing soccer and baseball all summer, in the lake, etc. Now I work for a construction company so I am out in the heat quite a bit. I admit that when I was playing football I didn’t enjoy two a days in the heat.

I would rather sit through a 110 day than a 30 day.
