So after multiple very hard landings 9/10 of the way across the wake, yet no quite across i was getting very frustrated and almost made me not want to wakeboard for a while. well we shortened the rope about 10ft and i was landing smoothly on the downside of the wake and i just have to say the difference between landing on the wake and the edge is AMAZING
just wanted to share. gonna start getting back into my 4-5 times a day routine and maybe see if i can lengthen the rope by maybe 5 and see what happens.

riding in the east coast and only on weekends well, you need to catch up somehow. I'm only 15 so I'm still fairly young but yeah, it definitely takes a toll on your body after a few sessions. Now just gotta get my 3's down.
btw thanks for the congrats

Pursuing it as a career and you're not clearing the wake? You might want to have a backup plan...

I know, I know...

It just sounded a little funny to me that he's "pursuing" it as a career despite not having one of the very most basic elements of the sport down like second nature. Are kids on the JV basketball team that aren't that good at dribbling pursuing basketball as a career?

I'm all for him having fun and riding as much as possible, but the idea of pursuing it as a career seems a little far fetched at this point in his development.

Roflcopter, Dude, please please please prove me wrong and rub it in my face when you start riding away from crow mobes and 911 krypts at the end of the season. Nothing will make me happier (or more jealous Laughing )

hahaha thanks, but i'm not taking it seriously, i've only been riding for 2 seasons now so i'm not that great. i just kinda throw the idea around to keep me wanting to ride. gives me something to work towards. (believe me as much as i would want to, considering all i ever want to do is ride, i'm pretty level headed)
and cheezewiz, i've gotten my bs and fs 180s down and now that im getting higher my grabs are getting a whole lot cleaner =) thanks for the advice.
also, b33nine, look at rusty malinoski, he should still be freezing his a** of in canada. discovered wakeboarding at 14, yet is on of the top riders now a days. definitely an inspiration.

I'm a little behind schedule, but I should be headed to the pro tour by 2012. Wink
