I have a LF Trip that I let all my friends ride.. well the obrien binding are about toast and one of the screws that hold it to the board and is used to adjust it broke off. So I thought why not just go ahead and replace the complete binding because no one likes these anyways, they are worn out, and they are too big for most of my friends feet.

So im looking for something up to $100 in about a size 10 that is not a complete crap binding. Opinions?

Thanks in advance

If ya don't have an opinion on community board bindings just post what you have, what you like about em, what you don't like, how much you paid etc. Any help will be appreciated Cool

I have a set of Ronix Ones I paid $90 shipped for off ebay and love them. Just started wake boarding but these are very comfortable bindings, Also got my wife a set of hyperlite 3DSs off ebay for $65 and she says they feel very comfortable as well. Dont know much but did a little research before getting my set ups and I think if you want multiple fit bindings you need to look at an open toe set up like the Ronix Cabals that have a range like 7.5 to 11.5 I have seen them on ebay from $40 to $100, hope that helps

Learn from me. Buy a quality pair of open toe bindings that fit a range of sizes you think will be good. Don't buy a cheaper pair, they just get busted faster. You know who breaks gear the fastest? People that don't know what they're doing with it - new people.

i ride the Ronix Ones. $260 shipped to me off of ebay. absolutely love them, but for a "community" board as you call it, you need a durable, open toe, middle of the road bindings. When dealing with bindings its true that you get what you pay for. Usually the higher the price the more comfortable the boots but on a community board comfort is not a necessity. I believe you have to learn what your doing before you get to experience the luxury of comfortable bindings. haha

I can tell you what *not* to get. I bought a pair of HL frequency bindings and when they came I was super disappointed. The laces are stretchy bungee material. So when the rider leans forward guess whats going to happen..

Luckily I bought those as my "smaller" community pair. In addition I bought Ronix Franks (first time buying Ronix). Much higher quality boot. We'll see how long it holds up though. I'm always leery of new brands Smile

Wakeboarder3780,

The franks are amazing. You'll have nothing but comfort with them. Ronix builds a really solid boot.

Fun fact: The velcro strap on the front does nothing. The braille on it says "For shits and giggles"

I bought a pair of 2009 LF Trasits (10-11) for the comminity board, when EVO gear had their sale. 3 friends have used them now (also on a LF Trip) and no complaints so far, even though they are all new riders. Friend with size 12's had no issues using them either.
