|
|
I have a 15ft fletcher, and I know that it isn't going to give off the biggest wake, but is there any way of making the wake break later?
for example, in this pic of a mastercraft wake, the wake breaks quite late
http://images.wakeboard.co.uk/2008/06/Rocktheriver5.JPG
whereas in this pic, the wake breaks pretty much straight away
http://thumb11.shutterstock.com.edgesuite.net/display_pic_with_logo/85/85,1107986866,2/stock-photo-speed-boat-wake-wake-from-the-back-of-a-speed-boat-143086.jpg
and because of the wake breaking early, when I go for wake-wake jumps, every so often, the nose of my board digs into the wake, causing me to fall :(
is there anyway of making the wake break later? ballast bags maybe? if so where should I put them?
Thanks :) |

You're not going to change it a whole lot with weight except to make it a little bigger and more of a ramp. Try taking a bunch of friends out with you and move them around to see what effect it has. Also play with your speed to see what gives you a little better wake and placement of the break. You'll probably want to consider shortening your rope, too so you can get in front of the break. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

you can try triming up to shape the wake. but the more you trim up, the harder it is for your boat to get on plane. _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |
