| I know you guys are pretty smart about all stuff wakeboarding so here it is. I am looking to buy a new mainline and handle package for less than $150. i want great quality and not too pricey. I dont know the differences in handles so if someone would be so kind as to decribe mainlines and handles to me i would appreciate it. |

Mainlines - all that matters is that you get a spectra or dyneema core line. They'll probably say "no stretch" in the description but technically that's not true all lines stretch even if a little bit.
Handles - They have some with little wrap handles. The ones that have mini wrap hands come in two different flavors, "diamond handle" and "t-bar" handle. Look at a few of them and you'll know what I'm talking about. Decide if you want a wrap handle (I personally don't like them) and if you want one decide what style you'd like. After that you may want to make sure you get a fairly wide one (15'').
After that it doesn't really matter if they are strung with spectra or dyneema as the line is only 5' total and won't stretch that much. I personally would stay away from LF handles, I bought one and I'm very disappointed and have heard at least one other guy saying the same.
As far as exact product recommendations.. you have a lot of options under 150:
spectra: http://www.google.com/products?q=spectra+mainline+handle&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&lnk=pruser&price1=0&price2=150
dyneema: http://www.google.com/products?q=dyneema+mainline+handle&hl=en&lnk=pruser&price1=&price2=150 _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |
