|
|
My father is on his way to buy a brand new moomba outback '08.
We are moving from a 99 Ebbtide I/O and it will be our first inboard. Is there anything I need to know about this boat ? Any recommendations or opinion ?
I'm so happy right now! I just can't believe we're actually gonna get a real wakeboat ...
Thanks for the help! |

congrats, my riding partner has one, same year and everything, be sure to get the gravity 3 ballast system (3 sacks, 2 rear, 1 ski locker) and load it up with hotties or get additional bags (ballast a must with this boat), it will throw a pretty nice wake that way, you will be pleased with it, congrats!!!
oh yeah I only have one recommendation for first time inboard owners....get some of that rubber stuff you put on the top edges of the boat and put some of it across the transom just above the swim platform, keeps the boards from banging against your new shiny gelcoat _________________ Lithic, LLC, my biz

Yeah we're supposed to throw in the Gravity III but the dealer said they would upgrade the 400 lbs bags in the back for 550 lbs (better for wakesurfing) !
Thanks for the help! |

Use the search and you will find several threads on 2008 Moomba Outbacks. _________________ If I agreed with you we would both be wrong. |

750's are what you really want in the back. If you can negotiate those I would. I have an XLV with them and I'm very happy. _________________ 2010 Watson Hybrid

Yeah we talked to the dealer and he said they would fit the biggest sacks in the back.
I Can't wait. They ship it to my dock the 19. Coming from the Ebbtide 182 I/O i'm pretty sure i will be stoked on the wake.
Now I gotta get a wakesurf... |
