I don't know many kids with the bag of tricks he has on both boat and cable that are unsponsored right now. Let's push for one of our wb.com own Kevin Wipplinger to take this!! From double s's on the cable to grabbed toe 7s off the wake with style to boot and a summer of progression to come that will be able to top Kevin. I wonder if having a
board sponsor negates you from the contest because if it does then a lot of the competition that he would have no longer become competition.
Nick Kamper also has what it takes but he just signed with wakeology making it pretty tough to be a LF rider at the same time. The best part of the contest is that video editing means NOTHING. Only the tricks matter. Kevin has Just about every mobe off the wake with a bag of spins that make me dizzy. So it's time to get Kevin pumped because he thrives off of encouragement. Not to mention he just took collegiate national championships. Let's all make a list of what we want Kevin to learn this summer and give him hell until he does.
Trick 1 from me- ts bs oa 3 (already has it to 1)
trick 2- beesting on the boat (has perfect brestings on the cable and sbend behind the boat so this should be achievable in 1 set)
trick 3- stale into the flats to late bs 3 (can already do huge bs 1s)
trick 4- nuc toeside roll to blind (petes are dialed and oa ts bs 1s are dialed
so let's put it together)
trick 5- KGB into the flats WiTH a grab, already does it without the grab)
trick 6- crow 5 (I think he can learn this in 3 or 4 tries)
ok kev you have 2 weeks to learn these tricks and make sure they are on film. When landed do not fist pump, just do it internally so it doesn't look like your first time.

Think about the big picture. The gear is just a small portion of what this contest will do for you. _________________ Wakeskating

Haha the funny thing is alot of those tricks you mentioned Ive been thinking about in my head and was thinking about trying the ts back roll to blind today behind the boat. Let me just say this is very motivating for me right now and the last two sets I rode with this in my mind. I started filming yesterday and so far Ive got two solid days of riding/filming. Cannot wait to push myself the next couple of weeks. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

| shaggyboarder, TS roll to blind is a solid one to have. I lost mine, unfortunately, but it's really not that bad of a trick, it's just that a lot of people don't try it because it seems difficult. You got any new vids up of you riding? |

holdsworth, I tried a few a couple years ago, but it was when I was learning so many new tricks I moved on from it before I actually learned it. Will def get out there and attempt some, Im not sure about the whole nuke grab part though in my mind it seems harder to grab it. I wish I had some new vids my goal was to get them out every other week but I got injured and couldnt ride for three months. Im trying my hardest to ride and when I ride im trying to make up for lost time if you know what I mean. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

| shaggyboarder, yeah for sure...that's what I've been doing this whole year haha. I don't grab my TSR2B though... still can't get the stupid nuke grab on my regular TS backroll haha it's close though. Got it on my tantrum though, so that will go to blind when I'm in Tennessee next month or maybe over the weekend depending on how I'm feeling. |
