so me and my friend finally got out on the colorado river in parker, AZ last weekend for the first ride of the summer. i was expecting to be pretty rusty but i ended up clearing the wake heelside first try, which is basically where i left off last summer. i was clearing it hs and ts. so me and me friend decided it was time we both learned a new trick, because we pretty much progress at the same rate. any suggestions for a new trick?

Im at your same position and i attempted a hs 360 and a tantrum today and actually came pretty close. but i mostly work on my 180's, grabs, and riding switch.

I am also in the same boat with you guys, w2w is pretty easy now, and I am working on my w2w 180's along with switch hs/ts w2w.

I would say play with some grabs, and work on the 180's. I was given the advice that once you learn how to do something regular, do it switch. Makes your riding more exciting for an audience whenever you have one, and it allows for a wider range of trick variation.

Good luck

hey i was on your guys level about 3 months ago. don't try crazy sh*t like backflips and 360s if you just started clearing the wake. it'll only prelong you from learning your starting tricks. start by boardslides and regular board control, then go switch and after you can edge switch a little bit, switch back and try ollie 180s, then move to the wake with grabs and 180s.
