Hey guys I have a pair of mako board racks on my 03 moomba outback and they have been a lot of trouble. I have had them fall off more than once while driving and even had a chunk taken out of my board because of it. So after that I have always tightened them up real snug and eventually the aluminum on the mount has stripped out so now i can only put one on one side of the tower. Anyone know how I could get ahold of another mount that goes on the tower? I think the company has gone out of business now and the only other option is to tap it and get a bigger screw. Any help would be appreciated
if you know the diameter of your tower you can get a rack and a clamp from DIYWAKE.com for fairly cheap. they are very high quality and have lasted me over 3 years now w/ no problems. _________________ Lake Shelbyville, IL

You mean the clamp that wraps the tower leg?
monster Tower actually build these still and use it on their racks. They were a bit of a copy of the Mako rack originally but the tower clamp is still identical in dimensions.
hit up Kenton at Monster Tower and he'll sort you out.
chevyman12 - Give us a call at 877-778-6937 the clamp that we use for our Monster Tower racks should work the old Mako rack. _________________ Live by the Board
