I don't think I would say 'ooh ugly' if I saw a pimped out XTi on my lake w/ the illusion tower. I think the Tige reverse swoop looks better but I am still not sold on either. What about actual performance differences? Is this just for new looks? I have never considered my driving vision to be 'impaired' by a normal tower, so I don't consider that an advantage, although I haven't seen the difference in person. What about access into the boat, isn't that a problem?

Speaking of speculative tower innovations, wonder if any of the Mastercraft sponsored pros are allowed to take that low rollbar looking tower off and replace it with the sweet stainless Zero Flex. Probably not. But I don't know squat about the 03 boats, I haven't even been to a boat show yet.

Has anyone tried to get into the boat with that tower? What a pain in the ass. How'd that make it through. You are going to have to buy mats to put down on the vinyl so people don't screw it up as they get on the boat. If I were buying a malibu I'd go with the older tower.
