Anyone else sleep with their new boards?

So.. I have a ritual that I started ever since the first board I bought myself (technically my second board). When I get a new board (bindings typically don't count), I get it all set up and sleep with it. I'm talking it gets a spot in the bed under the covers and one of my arms over it.

Just wondering if by CHANCE someone else does that (or something remotely crazy). My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I know I can't be the only one.

hahahaha i used to sleep with my baseball glove and a baseball the night before baseball games or a football the night before football games but never a wakeboard lol

I dunno man, its a close call, when you pop that wake just right n get that sweet ass buzz after!!! Plus with wakeboarding 'multiples' aint just restricted to just the women out there hahaha

bridges, I still sleep with my glove on game nights. Being a college baseball player and hopefully moving on in the profession it is all about routines and being consistent. Haha I LoL'd when I read your comment.

JeffreyCH, what would the offspring of the snowboard and wakeboard be? I am thinking a snokeboard, but that is just a guess.

The closest I have gotten with a new board getting into my bed was at the foot of my bed. I woke up the next morning and stuck my feet in the bindings and sat there for about 15mins just chillin. Then I took it out and hit the water! I prefer morning extracurricular activity over night time extracurricular activity

I have not slept with my new board, but i did sleep in my new X Star the first night we got it. It was really nice with the bow filler cushion.

I've definitely done that. When we camp at the lake, all my boards come in the tent with me even if I don't plan on riding them. My main ritual though is strapping on in the bath tub.

I sleep with my new board. I touch it sometimes too. Haha. He even has a name, well he came with one and thats what I refer to him as. Not can you grab my board, its can you grab Bill. He has feelings too.
