We've got a 1990 Sport Nautique and we're thinking of putting AIR graphics on it. I think it will look nice.

When/if you do it...could you please send me some pics. I also have '90 sport and the gelcoat has faded. So I've thought of reduing the gel and graphics.

yeah, when we first got ours back in April it was really faded. We
re-gelcoated the whole boat about a month ago and it looks brand new again. It will look awsome when we get the graphics on. here's a pic:

I don't think i would want to put newer graphics on an older boat. It kinda looks like you trying to make it look like you have a newer boat. I was throwing around the idea of putting 1997 xstar graphics on my 1997 prostar 205. But the only diff on those two boats is the graphics. Probably not worth the cost. Not that I could find them.

bryce_04,

What graphics did you decide to do? Remember, I was the one who photoshopped your both with the air graphics. I thought those looked tight.

My friends and I had talked about this in the past when I had my older boat....

We all voted, that it would NOT be cool.... almost poser esq., if you will.....

OLD SCHOOL does not mean it's not COOL was the major point made, so keeping it old school was the cool thing to do.

All personal preference obviously, but when we talked about it that's what we came up with. Do what you want that's all that really counts.

Jeff, I think we are either gonna go with the new AIR graphics or the older AIR graphics from 1997-1999. The new ones seem like they would be cheaper because they are a lot smaller and probably easier to install. I like the look of the older ones a lot better though. Hopefully we can find a good deal on them. Is there anyway you can photoshop it with the old AIR graphics on it? That would be sweet.

I think it was around 4k. It was spendy but we figured since it already had new interior and a new engine all that need to be done was the gelcoat. We also had the trailer totally redone. Now it's like a brand new boat again. All for around 15k total.
