The perfect wake

I know everyone is always talking about how create the perfect wakeboarding wake. I know that everyone's boat makes a different wake, but I just want to get a general idea. I have a 2009 Tige RZ2 and I have weighted it so many different ways. Here is a picture of the wake. Does anyone have advice about perfecting my wake?

do you have weight added in the bow? that could steepen your wake a bit

I would put 1000 in the back and 500 up front. Mess around with it a bit but it needs some work.

sorry couldn't resist. When I rode behind an RZ2 a couple of years ago the wake felt a little soft. I'd start with at least 600 lbs in the bow and a couple of 350's in the back. The bow weight in my boat firms the wake up, but I'm not sure how it will react with yours. The hull on your boat is really only going to produce a more of a rampy wake. You'll never get a steep hard wake like a SAN or X-1. Work with what you have and have fun. If your salesman told you didn't need weight in that boat because the TAPS would be the same as ballast he was full of stuff and you need to add weight. You can make a fun wake with that hull, generally 60% in the back and 40% of the weight in the bow is what you should be doing.

yeah the Tige sales guy told me you don't need to add ballast, i asked him if he understood water displacement and how that made the wake bigger, he said no i so educated him and told him i wouldn't buy a boat from someone that didn't know enough about to use it to answer my questions, he got offended so i walked off, there are a couple on our river but i've never ridden behind them, the 60/40 rule is probably a good idea for you to stick to, add that and go out and have a good time
