Heres the deal. I'm considering either getting a new pair of bindings this year and possibly a new board next year or just getting a pair of bindings and keeping my board for a while longer. I have an 05 CWB Absolute Premium that I bought new in the beginning of 06. It is in perfect condition, no dings or anything of the sort. My question is this: what will a new board with the "newer technology/design" do for me that mine won't? I don't want a step down in performance but I don't want to pay $800 for a setup either. Not sure if I will even do anything this year, I might jump on something at the beginning of next season that is left over from this season. Any opinions you have would be very helpful. Thanks.
most of the newer technology is about weight reduction, I would have to say unless youre getting into some crazy tricks don't worry about the board. But I understand the need for bindings, if you're not comfy your whole set is ruined.

Get some closed toed bindings..they made a big difference for me. You might as well get a whole set up too cause it will be cheaper with a package deal.
