Tower speaker wiring help

Alright, so the guy I bought my boat from wired the tower speakers directly to the battery.. And it doesn't have enough power to run both the boat and the speakers so I purchased a second battery to go up under the drivers side dash. My question is.. How do I hook up my speakers ( 2 Polk audio speakers) to my amp, and then to my extra battery? I'm kinda retarded with electronics so bare with this dumb question please.

connect:
HU to amp with RCA cables
amp to speakers with speaker wire
amp to battery with + and - big gauge cable wire
HU to amp with little blue RTL wire

You should get a perko switch, and start doing searches for dual battery set up. Lots of info around here, and it may just save you from not being able to start due to a dead battery one day!

i would get an ACR before perko... maybe even both
