first he needs to learn where to put the flippin handle, looks like he's trying to do a chin up when he's cutting out, handle needs to be kep down around the waist so you can keep your balance, looks like he's pulling on the rope a good bit too, second the wake is well....just big enough to learn your basics on, w2w, 180's, simple stuff, third he's flattening out 6' before he hits the wake, cut with much less effort and simply edge all the way up to the wake, i usually flatten out just a little bit as i'm going up the wake and standing tall

What speed are you going? That's way too fast! Part of getting pop on a wakeboard is getting the edge of the board to push down into the water so the wake can push it back up. At that speed, it will be really hard to get the board to actually get on edge. You should be driving around 20 - 22 mph at the most with that boat.

Yeah his handle is waaaay to high, he needs to bring it down towards the lead hip, and he's got major chicken wings - get those elbows in.

He's not really 'popping' but instead is absorbing everything when he hits the er wake. Inseatd of edging all the way out, try just going out a few meters and pracice the 'poppping' then go further out.

Have to say though it's not necessarily about the size of your wake. I've seen guys throw big air tricks off wakes not much bigger than that, and it's purely down to their technique and years of practice.
