Trying to find a set up for me to use. I've been looking but just end up getting over whelmed with all the options. Don't want to break the bank but want a set up that will last me a few years while I'm learning. Any help would be appreciated. I know I want a set of closed toe bindings. The current ones I have are open toe. I have had some issues with my toes getting caught and hit so I want closed toe.

With the board I don't know what exactly is good. Also, how do you know what boards can be used with what bindings?

Trying to find a board me and my brother-in-law can both use. But more worried about it being good for me.

Was looking throuhg the 2010 Setup topic.....I want something that doesn't look like they were high when they designed it. Saw a Liquid Force Trip that was blue and white. When I looked for it came back with this.

I have the 08 Murray CT's and really like em. I got them on close out last year for less then 100 bucks. If you can find some they are very comfortable, easy in and out, have removable stiffener plates so you can decide if you want a flexy binding or a bit stiffer. Plus they look sick Very Happy

I've noticed an awful trend in board graphics these last couple years. If you look at my '09 Premier it's tight, the '10 model is hideous. Even my '07 Premier was a good looking deck. Most of the new stuff I see looks like the designers did too much acid or something lol.

Looks aside, the premier has been a good ride for me, it's a nice intermediate deck that you won't grow out of too soon. Close outs of them go for around 150-200. Here's an '09 in a 136 for 200 http://www.evogear.com/outlet/wakeboards/hyperlite-premier-wakeboard-2009.aspx

I think I like these so far. Just looking on boardstop. Are these good bindings?

I like the CWB Factions the most I think.

Like these boards from CWB.

http://www.cwbwakeboards.com/cwb-wakeboard-pure-134.php

That one seems to be more of a intermediate board from what i read.

http://www.cwbwakeboards.com/cwb-wakeboard-faction-138.php

I worried that the second one will be too advanced for me. Maybe too big too for me and my brother in law.

The board we ride now is a 142 so I want to go smaller.
