I am in the market for a new boat. I am thinking either the
Master Craft X-10
Malibu Wakesetter
Centurion Avalanche
Need some input, I want to get the best boat for the money, as well as perfomance and wake. So someone kick me some hints.
And if money was no object what is the best wakeboarding boat out?

What do you want from the boat? What kind of wake shape do you want? Is hull shot more important than tracking? Seating configuration? It's a complicated question with many variables. Gotta give more on what your looking for. besides fun.

Air Dogg, out of those three choices I would go with the Wakesetter.
jbelson is correct you need to be more specific.

Well, I need big air and power. As far as seeting I am not too concerned. I usually travel with more than one boat so 6-8 comfortably would be fine.I would preferrably like to accomidate 10 though.

Def go with the wakesetter!! I have been behind the x-10 and the wake is tiny. I have never been behind the avalanche but that boat is directed towards wake surfing. The malibu wakesetter is one of my favorite boats to ride behind. It has good seating, good storage and a great wake when weighted.

The statement that the Avalanche is directed toward wake surfing is inaccurate.
Definitely a wakeboard boat. Go for a demo ride in one that is set up with the 3 ballast tanks, and judge for your self

I (my father) just purchased a 03' Wakesetter VLX. The wake is awsome, the interior is great (most storage of all the top 3). With stock ballast and wedge the wake is clean 70 feet and pretty rampy and steep. Throw weight in and its and even bigger wake Smile

I'd go with the 'setter.

Check out Cal-Air Pro-V. best balast sys, fills up in 45secs, empties in 10 secs, no pumps. Also, so much room, it's like having two boats. Bob, the owner of Calabria Boats is a cool guy. Best overall finish.
