I'm pretty new to the wakeboarding seen, i've done it a few times but have always been a big time kneeboarder so I dont know much about it.

Is the Hyperlite Premier a decent board? From the looks of it, it is, but i just wanted to see some opinions on it.

Thanks guys.

I've had 2 of them, an '07 and now an '09. Good board to progress on, most of my crew learned on a my premier. It's not as fast or poppy as the Murray I rode last year, but has some 'give' for beginners. It is a kind of loose ride, slides easy, edges lock in good enough once you get proper edging technique down.

You really can't go wrong with it. It's a pretty solid shape.

Its a love hate relationship with me as Ive had some of my best sets on this board but at the same time its a lil on the slow side and was killing me on some d-up landings. If you can get a good deal on one then go for it, but I think there are better boards for beginners.

See, i would have done that but my dad doesnt trust ebay too much. He's the one with the paypal account so I just went with it.

But still at the end of the day, its that a decent board and a decent pair of bindings for a person who has only done this maybe once or twice?

Or did i completely screw myself in this buy? Thanks guys.

ebay is really safe, because u can get your money back if they screw you over..

i mean ur gunna get different opinions some will say its good some say bad but i think for 350 bucks you could have got a better set up, bet u will be happy with it, its still a good board...

ride an older model myself, will be my second year on it, probably going to get a different board in a month or two if business goes well, like someone said it does seem a little sluggish and for some reason I am not getting any pop this year in the 8-10 sets i have been out, last year was totally different so i don't know if it's the board or me, but to learn on you did fine, most people are going to change boards every year or two anyway so don't worry about it

Youll be fine besides its your first board you dont exactly need the best on the market. Heck I started with sandle bindings and a board that still used the "dimples" on the bottom.
