I am looking at getting a board and bindings for my brother (who is a beginner). Which of these are better options?

Hyperlite Motive 140 with Hyperlite Foundation Bindings

CWB 141 (unsure on bindings...says "Hinoc Tech" on them:

I am leaning towards the Hyperlite but I would like to try out the CWB because I have never used one...just not sure about the bindings.

What do you think?

My brother had a pair of CWB Hinges, and I don't care much for em. They are xxl and I can barely get my size 13 feet into them. Comfort wise they ok, just a b1tch to into and out of.

i disagree about the hinge tech's. i rode a pair last summer and are the easiest bindings to get into/out of. you must have some monster sized feet Jeffreych. LOL.

but it looks like both of those boards are sold. you should look at new boards that are leftover stock. i picked up the wife a liquid force diva with prima bindings for 230$. and i picked up some 09 ronix cell bindings for 160$. if you look you can find some great deals. check out board stop, boarders best buy, and wakeboarder.com. just a few.

to a beginer, their really isnt a bad board to buy. its once you start to figure out your style you start to try different boards and bindings. thats just my .02. any who, good luck on your board search. you cant really go wrong unless its from the 90's. Very Happy
