You see these all the time, but I've found I am horrible at getting the right size. The forum always leads me to a better sized board than I do myself. Looking at getting an 09 Shane. I currently ride an 08 lyman 143, and it *feels* a bit long to me.
I am 5' 7'' 190 lbs.
Shane Wakeboard 134 90-170
Shane Wakeboard 138 130-210
Shane Wakeboard 142 160+
Lyman Wakeboard 135 90-170
Lyman Wakeboard 139 130-210
Lyman Wakeboard 143 160+
So I'm assuming the shane 142 would feel a bit long to me too, but I want to know what you think. Going to order tonight so please let me know 142 or 138, thanks _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |

The last time I was riding a 136 belmont and everyone told me to step it up the one more size to 141, it felt amazing compared to the 136, so I'd still like to see what the average opinion is. I've deduced my ability to choose my own board size is not an ability I should have been given I guess I was more around 175 last summer, perhaps with the new added weight it will feel more like the right size? _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |

alright guys, I had to bite the bullet as there was only one board left in the 142. I'm now the proud owner of a 142 shane, hopefully the size suits me well
I'm curious how it will ride compared to the lyman. I've got a drysuit and now a new board, I'm super pumped to ride _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before.

| u wont be dissapointed, cuz if you gain some more weight its still gunna be a good choice.. 142 was the right choice for sure.. and more surface area of a board ==== MORE POP! |
