I'm considering switching from my trusty Shane to a 2010 S4 and CT Vantage boots. Anyone got this setup? What about any of the other LF 2010 gear?
My dealer is offering a discount right now on the 2010 stuff, so I'm considering picking up a new setup. |

I've ridden both and both are great boards.....prolly the differences you'll notice is the S4 is more locked in, but still breaks free easily, and for me the toeside pop was great on it. But they are probably about equal in pop and landings for me, the shane seemed a little more aggressive of a board, I liked the S4 better tho, great board!

Have to say the 2010 LF graphics are amazing, looks like someone took a 1980's acid trip when they came up with those.
I know it's a girls board, but my friend just got the Melissa with the open toe bindings, it's really nice, she rides well on it. Makes me laugh that the bindings have LED's that light up.
I think the LF gear is really good.

| Well I just picked up an 09 s4 fly 138 for super cheap so I'm going to try that one out and see how it rides. |

I felt that way about the earlier years models. At least the 2010 shane that I looked at in my size started to look like it's coming back from that stage. I picked up an 09 shane though and even though it has the crazy colors, it still is laid back at least on the top graphics.
Anyways pumped to ride, can't wait

| Make sure to try the vantages on before buying them. The heel is up higher in this year's boots. Compared to the Shane and Watson, they feel a bit like wearing high heels. I'm sure it works for some people, but I'm a Watson guy myself. |
