another board choice question :)

Im an intermediate rider who is looking to upgrade from a CWB Faze board. Im looking at the 2010 CWB Kink board and the 2010 CWB Faction because of their affordability and cant seem to decide on one . I like the Faction board especially because it is packaged with closed toed bindings which i like, but it has a continuous rocker, and the kink has a subtle 3-stage, which i would like for more pop. i just dont want to sacrifice any height with the contiuous Faction, but ive heard it has good pop for a contiuous. Just wondering what you guys think..... Thanks

ok so i like 3 stage rocker boards better beacause i like getting huge air but with a continous rocker you still get good air beacause your coming at the wake faster, so its all up to personal preference there. as for boots get closed toe! there so much better they offer more support around your ankles unlike most closed toe boots which bend easier the stiffer boots help you get up easier (in case you try to teach a friend to wakeboard)so i like closed toes way better.

But for a new board I think you should try a Ronix board (Mana, Ibex or Viva) I love Ronix boards if you want good pop i know someone who got almost 25ft of air with the Ibex and Relik boots, My friend can get like 20ft of air with the Viva and i Ride the Mana which doesnt get as high of air 10-15ft but it lands smoother so you land more.

With a continuous rocker you'll just have to work a little more on your technique to get the same pop.

I agree about Ronix boards, the majority of them have hybid rockers, so you get the best of both worlds. The Ibex is killer.
