Saw this last week. I just don't get the appeal of skype but I am probably in the minority.
BTW I think you meant skype + verizon + Android

Verizon blows. I was forced to change because they are one of the only two companies to service where I just moved.
Had Sprint, cheaper plan with more. Plus all mobile to mobile calls regardless of carrier are free with sprint as long as you are hitting a sprint tower. Plus you are not REQURED to pay $30 a month extra per phone for a smart phone like verizon.

You do have to have a data plan with both of them. The only difference is sprints data plans include Blackberries and smartphones. Verizon gives you internet but if you want a smartphone or Droid it will cost you another $30 on top of your so called data plan.

J-Ro, now how you gonna video skype using a phone with the camera on the wrong side?
You can't make Skype calls on ATT over 3g. Only on WiFi.
Skype on mobile is kinda goofy. Unless you call international a lot or have a low minute plan, who cares.

Sorry, I should have read more of this thread... Didn't realize there was video involved. Skype does, however, have an iphone app. |
