Here are pics of my 1990 supreme. I painted it black with candy green flames. I redid the interior with 50s style booth seat material.
Have to install my speaker cans and my light bar in the next month or so.

Yes I did the paint job myself. I paint cars for a living and one summer night after a few beers me and a buddy had a few beers we decided on the paint job. I did the flames to kinda match the new ski supremes. It really dosn't get that hot either. I need to take better pics of the interior but you can kinda see it in one of the pics.
I know I need to teak oil the swim deck. I'm going 2 do it as soon as I get a chance

Holds up great. Just make sure you prep it right. Sand the gell coat with 80 grit then go back with 180. Use a high build primer and then sand and paint. We did mine in a weekend, of course I have a heated booth. Just make sure you give plenty of flash time between coats and make sure the prime is cured before you sand it.

So I should sand it after I primer it? Any specific grit? And When you spray it what do you mean by flash time?

I know you spray it, and then you have X amount of time before you have to get the clear coat on.. does the base coat have to be 100 percent dry before clear?

Yes you want to sand it after you prime it. Grit depends on what paint line you use. I used R-M the grit is 500-600. Flash time means in between coats. Depending on temp and what product you use it verys between five 2 fifteen min. You want it to be dry before you put more paint or clear on. You will know it is time when the base coat looks flat (dull).

That's a pretty sick paint job! Refinishing the platform would do wonders.
