Is a 145 board too big for me?

I am 6'0" 215lb of rock solid Jersey Shore muscle. Is a 145 board too big for me? Right now I ride a 142 and at times it feels too small but other times it feels just right. Thanks for the input.

i think you should be fine with it. it just depends how you like to ride. sometimes i will strap on my sons 119 fin less and ride (olies, spins, and butter slides like no other). but normally i ride a SS 142, and a j-star 141. and im 6', 210#'s.

The jersey shore comment was a joke. I am embarrased for this country for even having a show like that.

polar21, I'm 5'10" or so, 190ish and ride a 144 (with a surface area of 852") and it's fine. A 145 will work out alright for you.

polar21, I'm the exact same size as you, and I ride a 141 Premier. This past summer I got a chance to ride the Murray 145 and it was fine. I'm not sure if it was the size or the shape but the 145 felt like it had a lot more pop off the wake.
