Hey guys I just recently fracture the top of my tibia and it has been six weeks. The bone according to xrays looks fine. I'm supposed to "take it easy" and I was wondering for someone who usually wakeboards and takes pounding on his knees from falling out of the sky on tricks like inverts if wakeskating is a better route to go for a bit while I recover. Or does wakeskating put just as much pressure on your knees as wakeboarding. I wouldnt be doing wake to wake jumps on the skate I'd be focusing more on shovs and flip tricks. _________________ who wants in on the million dollar idea?
bad times brutha! sorry to hear - on the skate- I do both - and I think your plan is good medicine... "take it easy" probably means "stay off the water" I am dealing with the same type of an addiction so I am sympathetic... perhaps you should seek the consult of a duly qualified internet based physician to get a second opinion...
