Another example of why I hate walmart...
I received DJ Hero for Xmas and it was purchased from walmart. I did not want it so I took it back with the receipt. It had never been opened and still had the security seal on it proving it had not been opened. So I walk up to the customer diservice counter and give them the game and the receipt and tell them I would just like ot exchange it for different games. The MASSIVE women (i think) proceeded to look at the receipt and then look at the box to make sure it hadn't been opened.
The stupid b!tch than began cutting the tape in order to open the box I guess to make sure everything was in it. I didn't say anything because I'm returning it so I don't care if she throws it on the ground and jumps on it, I just want store credit. Well obviously everything was there because it had never been opened so she starts scanning and typing into the register. She then begins to look confused and asks her "supervisor" to look at this.
At that point, I am told that I cannot return it because it has been more than 35 days since it was purchsed. Right after she finished her sentence I calmly asked to speak to a manager at which point the "supervisor" jumped in and said that it is walmarts policy to not take returns on electronic items after 35 days from the date of purchase. This is when I got a little mad.
To make sure I was making my point I went through a list of what I felt were important facts involving the situation such as it is unopened, I have a receipt and that some crazy people buy xmas presents more than a month before xmas but she didn't budge and said they couldnt take it back. I then complained about the giant women opening the package so that now I could not even put it on ebay as unopened and she just said sorry. Then I lost my temper and said in a louder than normal tone "THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I DON'T SHOP AT THIS F***ING STORE AND I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR HERE AGAIN" and I walked out with my opened box.
The next day I went to a different walmart to try to return it and this time I told them I did not have the receipt because it was an xmas gift and I wanted to exchange it. And after the smelly customer diservice girl radio'd to 2 different managers I was told I could do that so I picked out 2 different games and did the exchange without spending another dollar
the moral of this story is WALMART F*CKING BLOWS _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

Sounds like this was majority your fault. The return policy is 30 days, that's pretty common. But Walmart takes returns on basically anything without a receipt. Either way you got away with one by returning it at full price even though it was past 30 days.
And yes Walmart Blows. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

walmart blows for much larger reasons than you not being able to return a video game. _________________ I walk 47 miles of barb wire, I got a cobra snake for a necktie, a brand new house up on the road side, and it's made out of rattlesnake hide |

Wakebrad, according to the billboard sized sign at teh customer service counter, walmarts return policy is 90 days with a receipt (except for electronic items apparently) _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

| Walmarts pricematch garantee: If you find an advertised price at ANOTHER store, they will match it, but they will not match their own website's advertised price. Bought the Hangover there for a work swap and the store price was $5 more than the online price and they wouldn't match it (needed it that day, so I had to get it at the store). |
