Looking for winch spots in NC/VA

I have a grinch winch at my disposal over christmas break and want to put it to good use. Im looking for any kind of waterfall, dam, gap, spillway, or even wall ride. Im in Raleigh until new years so thats the main area Im trying to find spots for, but will be heading to VA for a while too (and snowshoe if there are any spots on the way...) If you know of any spots anywhere in central NC or southern/central VA id be interested.
