Actually, I know what he is talking about and have the 09 Product DVD that shows the guy talking about the I/O Vs and Inboard.
Since I learned to drive a boat on a Deep V I/O.... what I saw on that vid was pretty hilarious. What they were showing was someone driving one completely wrong.
Anyway, I don't think anyone will disagree that an Inboard is a better watersports boat... but I/Os aren't bad and they have their benefits as well.

I have never hears anyone try to argue that an I/O is better for skiiing, wakeboarding, or surfing. Heard people say you could make them better and they are useable.
