I'm looking to trade in my current Four Winns I/O for a 2009 Moomba Mobius LSV.
Any owners have any complaints or opinions about their boats? Any known issues with Moomba? Searching the forum it looked like they had some positive reviews. Appreciate your feedback. _________________ Matt |

You are upgrading. Great value boats.
Crawl around the one you are buying. Grab windshield, tower, ski pole etc and give it all a good shake i think you will find it all to be solidly put together. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

my 03 kicks ass. great quality and value. great wake. easily upgradable ballast. makes a great surf wake too.
the 06+ LSV have the newer hull.
perfect pass works great even at surf speeds.
lots of great features
plenty of power even with upgraded ballast.]
my suggestion, go look at one, open everything, play with stuff, get a feel for the boat. ride/drive it if possible.
then go look at a malibu, nautique and master craft. do the same, open everything, drive etc.
and decide if the extra trinkets and if you notice a difference in teh wake and if its worth the extra $20,000 to $30,000
to some it definatly is, to others its not at all.
edit: i think theres one for sale in the classified section here _________________

| I just bought a 2009 XLV which is the bigger version of the LSV. I traded up from an I/O Rinker. When I was test driving other makes and models (Nautique 210) I could tell a difference while I was in the boat, extra gidgets and gadgets, behind the boat I personally didn't see a huge difference in the wake if any at all. I'm not a pro, so what do I know. |

this is sort of how i feel. if you havent been riding hard for 3-4 seasons, and not attempting 5s yet, then your probly not gonna tell the difference between a moomba wake and a wake from the "big 3". _________________

Thanks for the input! I'm hoping to get a test drive in over thanksgiving and perhaps purchase soon after. I'll make sure to post pictures if I bite. _________________ Matt |

Try above dealer......good friend of mine for over 25 years......very customer service oriented. Ask for Lou (owner) He's located in north jersey near Sussex. Tell him Dave W sent you.
There's a Moomba on the river down near me, 10 year old boat still going strong so they do make a good boat. |
