Any trick for the Backside Shifty?
I find no way to turn it backside with the grab. I just go straight behind the boat, when most , and I try to turn it as much as this:
Should I wait till I'm on the max hight or start the rotation off the wake? Where shoud I put the handle? Where should I look?
What about the line tension? What edge, rotation like or more progressive edge?
Any tricks/hints?
Thanx for any input! |

take the same edge as you would with a normal grab, when you release from the wake let go with your rear hand and use your hips, shoulders, and handle control to turn it backside, pull back on the handle to straighten out for the landing. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

| Ok, thanks. I'll try to keep the handle closed to my butt and use hips and shoulders. |

Have you done bs180s? It's similar motion except instead of passing the handle, you whip it to the front to straighten out the rotation.
You don't have to wait for the very top of your jump but not right off the wake. Just pull the handle to your butt, keep it there and you'll rotate. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |
