| Just wondering if anybody has also had this operation. Im a week post op. I originally tore it on an indy glide that i lost the grab and overrotated in my arm because I held on. I kept riding and didnt see a doctor. My shoulder came out of the socket like 5 or 6 times when riding, and so I finally went to surgeon and the MRI showed I had a bankart lesion. The surgery ended up taking 3 1/2 hours, and 3 surgeons. The normal is no more than an hour, and one surgeon. My surgeon told me it was the worst tear he had ever seen. They had to make 5 anthroscopic incisions, when they normally only do 2. So if anybody has had problems with their shoulder popping out I urge you to see a doctor ASAP. And if anybody has had the surgery should I expect to ever ride again? |
