I just want to say that Hyperlite's service and warrenty department is excellent. I broke my 2002 Byerly DNA, and in two weeks, i was riding on a brand new 2003 DNA. Which by the way is an awesome board. I don't know how other companys handle there warrenty claims, but i will be a hyperlite customer for life.

yup. their customer service is great. i'm going on five years of buying their products with no complaints. not saying that other companies are not as good, but as they say "if it ain't broke...." _________________ Take A Rip! |

| I'd like to comment on Hyperlite's service as well, but I won't be praising them like you all have. Over a week ago I ripped my Parks bindings. The very next day I called the place I bought them from and Hyperlite. Hyperlite said to go to my nearest dealer and they will fix them for me. So I called a dealer 30 minutes away and another dealer close to 2 hours away. Both said they could do nothing for me. I called back to Hyperlite and they said I was out of luck. The phone call I made to the place I bought them was a little better. They said they didn't have any overlays in stock but Hyperlite was supposed to send them in the next couple of days. I called them today (9 days after they ripped) and they said Hyperlite has still not sent them any and have no idea when they will have some. I think having to wait this long without even a slight hope of getting some new overlays is crazy. Hyperlite is definitely dissapointing me with this. |

way too much leg work. what u shoulda done is put them in a box with a copy of ur receipt and a short note explaining what happened. then insure em and pay round trip shipping and send em off. a few weeks later they'll be back either repaired or replaced. (time frame depends on how busy they are of coarse) _________________ Take A Rip! |

Wake upPp,
I would have done exactly that if it had not been for a previous experience. I had a Hyperlite Vest rip pretty bad about a year ago. I contacted Hyperlite and I did as they said: Box it with a receipt, took it to my nearest dealer, and pay them for shipping. I waited one week, nothing back, 2 weeks, still nothing back but I got a promise from the shop that I would get a phone call as soon as they came in. 3rd week, no phone call. At the end of the 4th week I called the shop, "oh yeah, it came in yesterday, we must have forgotten to call". I know this is poor service from the shop as well but 3 1/2 weeks for me to get a new vest from Hyperite? Its the middle of the summer. I am needing to ride for both tournaments and recreation. |

Jon ~ sounds like you may have more of an issue with the shops you deal with. Ever thought that they (the shop) could have been the ones slacking with the calls and not following through?
Makes you wonder if it's just Hyperlite products with these guys? |

| Yeah, I agree, the shops around here do suck, I live in Arkansas. But I have called about 10 different shops around the US and nobody has been able to do anything for me. And what really gets me is that Hyperlite says "I guess your out of luck". What kind of customer service is that? |

I got my overlays replaced last year under warranty, they were replaced with the same 02 overlays as the ones that ripped. I did not have to send mine in my shop just ordered the new ones under warranty. Saturday I noticed that my left overlay was starting to rip again, so I took them to my shop today so they could see them. The guy called HL warranty while I was there and got the 03 overlays on order no problem.
I think your problem lies with your shop, and you got a HL rep that was having a bad day. |

| I just had two of my overlays replaced ('02 parks) I ended up with one '02 overlay and one '03... I guess we'll see which one lasts longer. Either way the process was far easier than I thought... I think hyperlite has great service. |

Seems like overlays breaking is a common occurance. I've never had this happen. Why is it so easy for other guys to break em and not me? _________________ 2001 Liquid Force Helix 139
